Embracing Your Mental Health Challenges

Sharing your mental health challenges with someone who understands, can become a meaningful way to get your life back

Embracing your mental health challenges

Dealing with your own mental health can be  a challenge at times. Especially because mental health illnesses are invisible. Depression, anxiety, agoraphobia, panic attacks, suicidal ideation and many other ones in the same category do not manifest themselves externally for the world to see. Which makes mental health illnesses extremely dangerous. What you are dealing with can secretly fester within you for long periods of time before anyone notices that anything is wrong.

The danger is that if your loved ones could see what you are going through, they would find a way to be of assistance, but since no one sees it, and you choose not to share what you are going through, you suffer in silence.

Why join this support group?

You may be afraid to share what you’re going throughout of fear that those you tell will not fully understand what you are going through and perhaps even judge you.

The purpose of this support group is to allow you to reach out to people who understand your challenge as you are facing them, can understand what it means when you share your emotions, fears, and perceptions and can be your source of support as you learn to support yourself and reciprocate the sense of care that you are getting from them.
